Toronto Police say a woman was sexually assaulted in an isolated area at Gerrard St. and Clonmore Drive on Sunday morning at 3am.
Although police tape was spotted at the Car and Pet Wash on Sunday, police would not confirm if the alleged assault happened in the parking lot or directly behind in the Quarry.
Victim took cab ride
According to police, the assault victim left a nightclub in the downtown entertainment district and stepped into a nearby taxi.
The woman was driven to the Gerrard and Clonmore area, where police say the driver parked the taxi and sexually assaulted the woman.
The man fled and police were called.
Police describe the suspect as being in his late 20’s, 5’11” with a medium build. He was driving a white minivan taxi.
