The Photo of the Day for Oct. 12, 2012 was submitted by Lee Ellis who describes spotting, and following a bald eagle:
“I was driving east along Kingston at St. Clair when I saw it and knew immediately it was an eagle based on size and the heavy wing flap. It went north so I followed and it started to circle about 5 blocks north which gave me time to stop the car, grab my camera from the trunk and snap a couple of pictures. We think the same eagle went past the raptor watch at Rosetta about an hour later, both sightings were of eagles born this spring.”
