A terrible ordeal this morning for residents of the apartment building at 1457 Kingston Road, where fire broke out at 5:30 this morning.
The fire started in a ground floor apartment and quickly spread upstairs, with smoke filling the four-storey building.
Five residents were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
