The Olympic dream has ended for Scarborough’s Crispin Duenas, a graduate of Birchmount Collegiate, who competed in today’s elimination round in archery.
Duenas was eighth going into the competition after a strong qualifying round on Friday which he described as “the greatest day of my life”.
It didn’t end as Duenas had hoped, however, as he fell to 33rd overall.
Duenas says he will return to the University of Toronto in the fall and has no plans to give up archery.
